Consuming Fire Fellowship
PRISON MINISTRY
Matthew 25:36 ...I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

"When I testify of Consuming
Fire Fellowship, my first thought is summed up in the word, "discipline."
Each of the brothers from C.F.F. has set an example of discipline.
The word "discipline" comes from the word "disciple."
Through C.F.F., much discipline has been taught to us here at W.C.C.F..
Sadly, each of us are here because we lacked respect for the laws of the
land. No other ministry has taught on a Christian's obligation to respect
the laws of the land and the disciplined life of Christianity more than C.F.F.
prison ministry. We, the brothers in Christ here at W.C.C.F.,
had failed to see the importance of maintaining our witness by submitting to
every institutionalized ordinance of man (Romans 13). However,
Brother Britt was faithful to reveal God's standard for His disciples. So,
I take this opportunity to thank God for opening the doors of W.C.C.F.
and sending C.F.F. in to teach us "discipline," which has
enhanced our walk with God as disciples of Christ." Read Ramon's Testimony

"I've really enjoyed
the service Consuming Fire Fellowship has put in for the Lord at this
institution. I have a special place in my heart for the brothers who have
come to share the gospel with us. During all of the Tuesday services
there's always such a spirit of love, praise, and joy. When I first met
Brother Britt Williams I knew something was very different about him, just being
around him made me feel convicted! All of the ministers that have come
with Brother Britt and Brother James have shown the same spirit of power and
anointing. I wasn't very strong in the faith when I started attending
their services but I always was aware of God's presence at all of them.
Over a period of months I've had a number of wonderful opportunities to witness
the power of God work through these men. Their witness has helped my faith
to increase and I've grown in the Spirit. I thank the Lord for sending
them to us. When I return home it will be mandatory for me that I visit Consuming
Fire Fellowship and witness again the true love of God."

"God said in
Mark
11:29 "Take my yoke upon you and
LEARN of me..." Now, how
can we learn of Him unless someone teach us (Romans 10:14)? It's hard
enough outside of these prison walls to find God-like preaching - preaching that
will convict, expose, correct, and exhort - imagine the cry of the true
born-again believer who is incarcerated! Imagine looking for that which is
real. Looking for that which is holy. Looking for that which is like
God and only finding men with wicked philosophies, doctrines of devils, unholy
testimonies, and who have less life than a DEAD MAN in a cemetery! The
Bible says in Isaiah 10:27 "...and the
YOKE shall be destroyed because of
the anointing." The only way for the yoke to be destroyed is by the
anointed ministry of those living holy, spirit-filled lives and who truly
worship a holy God! I have found this "YOKE DESTROYING
ANOINTING" in Consuming Fire Fellowship's prison ministry. It's not
the men in this ministry that make the difference, but rather, it is the God of
these men that makes the difference! God, through C.F.F., has opened my
eyes to see God as He really is, HOLY. To see the standard Jesus has set
for me, HOLINESS; and to know the only time I shouldn't walk in HOLINESS is NO
TIME! I thank God for a ministry that was "sent" and not
just "went." A good ministry, like C.F.F.,
will truly disciple and make painfully clear the cost involved in following
Christ (Mark 8:34). Because of a ministry like C.F.F. I can really say,
"I delight to do thy will, O my God: thy law is within my
heart." Psalm 40:8 And,
"Through thy precepts I get
understanding: therefore I hate every FALSE way." Psalm
119:104
Truly, following Jesus has made the difference."

"I must say, through the prison ministry of Consuming Fire Fellowship, my conscience and heart has been honestly opened to the teaching of the grace of God. Their teaching, instruction, and knowledge enlightened my understanding to the all-sufficiency of Christ (2 Cor. 12:9).

"...one
day a man asked me, 'do you know Jesus?' I said, 'yes, He's in that
Bible book,' he asked again, 'But do you KNOW Him?' and I
said, 'I've heard of Him.' Then he said, 'well, that's a start, now come
let me introduce you to Him!' And then he began to tell me the blessed
story of Jesus who left the glory of heaven to come down to this wicked and
corrupt world and become as one of us and paid the penalty with His blood to
save a wretched sinner like me! He told me how Jesus loved me with a love
unknown to man (what is called agape' love) and how He had a plan for my
life. As he began to pray for me tears began to well up in my eyes and I
began to feel a weight being lifted off of me! I began to sense and feel
His presence come over me! Friend, let me tell you, there ain't nothing
greater in this world than the feeling of being saved and having a personal,
intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ!"

"I am a prisoner of the Lord Jesus Christ! I would like to thank God through my Lord Jesus Christ, for Consuming Fire Fellowship's prison ministry. The Lord, by His Spirit, has used them to produce boldness in my life."

"In
a world where God's divine Word is sadly and sinfully watered-down to a few
words and a set of man-made rules. It's a God-given blessing to have godly
men who are willing to go against today's tradition and bring the truth of God's
Word to a dying world. With all the false teachers delivering their web of
fables and entangling the world in their lies of darkness, faithful, sin-hating,
holy-living, Bible-preaching men of God are hard to find (and almost unheard of
in prison). That's why I praise the Lord for Consuming Fire
Fellowship's prison ministry. To hear the Word of God proclaimed, not
with men's understanding but in the power of the Holy Ghost, has helped me find
the God of the Bible and His will for me as His disciple. To know I can
live holy gives me the hope needed to face the world. Knowing that God
made holiness attainable, through the death of Jesus on the cross, takes
away the fear of me having to do the impossible (in my own strength). Now
I look forward to living a holy, happier life in Christ, free from sin!"

Jeremiah 23:16-18, 21-22 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord. 17They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you. 18For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it....21I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 22But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
